So the other day I came across an article in the local paper about a guy who, in his spare time, has constructed a set of 305 stone stairs up the Niagara Escarpment. On his own, in his free time. So Greg and I decided to go check them out on Saturday afternoon. Uli was actually there, working on building flowerbeds beside the stairs. We talked to him for a bit, found out he works on them pretty much every day, and started 2 ½ years ago. He encouraged us to get some exercise and enjoy the “Adventure Steps.” We headed down the stairs, hiked along the Bruce Trail for a bit and came back. It was good. I only wish I’d asked him why he decided to build the steps.
I also have a (digital) camera now (again)! I’ll post some pictures here but probably most of them will be on flickr. I’ll see how it goes and figure out what works best.

Fun times. Nice pics.
are you allowed to just build stuff on public property? just seems like someone would've stopped him...but good thing they didn't :)
Nice. What kinda camera did you get?
i got a canon g7. i love it (mostly)! it has a few quirks, but it's almost like an slr in my pocket. well, it doesn't quite fit in my pocket, but better than an slr would!
