A couple days ago, I went to change the address on my driver's license (I moved at the end of October). Turns out, they stopped charging $20 sometime in June. Yes!
In other news, my computer problems are gone - turns out it was just a bad RAM chip - although I still think it's Toshiba's fault (they won't admit it and the warranty's over).
At the moment, my computer is stable, if a bit slower (only 1 GB of RAM), but I'll pick up another GB shortly and be back to normal.
And I really could have posted more than I did the last few months, but it's been busy. Apologies.
Starting tomorrow, I'm picking up my cousin and heading off on 2 1/2 weeks of roaming Japan. So shortly there should be lots to read, and a ton of pictures to see. If I can, I'll post them in chunks so it's not overwhelming, but that will depend a bit on time!
