The end of October and beginning of November were busy with parties - farewell party for a great girrrrl from Scotland, farewell BBQ for a students and teachers of a lousy company, a halloween party, a triple birthday party (three birthdays within a week) and a fantastic Japanese dinner/Wii party. All of those social excursions kept me busy and tired, but at the time I didn't really have much to do anyway, so it worked out. The demise of Nova also coincided (rather fortunately) with a couple of ice hockey tournaments that I would have missed had I been working.
I also spent time making business cards and planning how I would survive as a private teacher if I couldn't find another job. And I caught up on a lot of sleep. Some of the various parties are pictured on flickr.
