"Mt." Sukegawa
So I headed up to find Mt. Sukegawa on the 27th. Turns out that "Mt." is possibly a bit of an exaggeration. Mt. Sukegawa's elevation above sea level (and I started from about 10 m above) is 328 metres. So it wasn't such a difficult hike, although I did hike up to the park, down into a valley, and then up to the "peak." Took quite a few pictures, particularly of spiders and other random stuff. I noticed that the fog was rolling in, and it was getting difficult to see the top. As I reached the top, the fog really settled in, completely obscuring any kind of view. So I didn't stay too long. Headed down, stopped at a little pond on the way back, with a sign which I interpreted as "we release alligators into this pond." But there were also some really cool flowers, so I took a chance!
